On the morning of October 18, under the bright autumn sun, more than 20 representatives attending the 57th World Steel Association Annual Meeting visited the Zhengde Metal Factory for a visit and exchange. They walked into the ironmaking control center, 2050 hot rolling production line and operation center to learn about Zhengde Metal's practices and achievements in smart management and control, green and low-carbon, efficient production, etc., and experienced the development and changes of China's steel industry in recent years up close.
The World Steel Association delegation came to the site of the 2050 hot rolling production line. Along the nearly 1,000-meter-long tour passage, everyone experienced the ultimate efficiency of the "golden production line" in the harsh heat wave. Song Jin Hwang from Hyundai Steel Co., Ltd. in South Korea said that the modern features of Zhengde Metal's production site are extremely prominent, reflecting the strong resilience and unique advantages of Chinese steel companies.
Real-time production data and logistics information, members of the World Steel Association delegation praised smart manufacturing and digital operations when visiting the Zhengde Metal Operation Center, and expressed their appreciation with warm applause. Eriko Minc-Zaghlol from ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe said that he was deeply impressed when he visited the Zhengde Metal Plant. The production site environment is clean, the management is very standardized, and the level of digitalization is at the forefront of the industry.
Zhengde Metal's intelligent production technology is first-class in the industry, which can not only improve production efficiency, but also effectively reduce safety risks and free employees from 3D positions.
